Website Accessibility

Dr. James Brown is actively committed to continually improve our website’s accessibility and ensure compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ( WCAG )(opens in a new tab)  developed by W3C at an AA level.

To enhance the accessibility of the website, we’ve implemented the following features:

  • Use of Semantic HTML and ARIA attributes for better experience with assistive technologies.
  • Sufficient colour contrast for text readability.
  • A skip link that provides mechanism to jump past the the list of navigation items to the main content of the page.

While using the website, you should be able to:

  • Change contrast levels and colours via specialised browsing modes or assistive plugin.
  • Zoom in up to 400% without the text overlapping.
  • Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard or assistive software. This includes links, headings and buttons.
