Dr James Brown MBBS, MPH, BA, FRANZCOG is a gynaecologist based at the Women’s Health & Research Institute of Australia (WHRIA), specialising in menopause and fertility care, including hormonal issues such as PMDD, heavy bleeding and PCOS. His clinical approach is both accessible and collaborative.
He also serves as clinical co-lead of the Specialist Menopause Service in South-West Sydney – Australia’s first 100% virtual public menopause service.
James provides fertility assessment and treatment, including IVF, through Connect IVF.
He graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014 and has spent the past decade working in Sydney hospitals and training in obstetrics and gynaecology. In addition to clinical work, he is directly involved in promoting women’s health policy.
He remains active in research – through teaching at the Western Sydney University and the University of Sydney (including supervising Masters projects) and undertaking a PhD in Health Economics.
